What is the Playground?

The Playground is a fully functional sandbox environment that allows you to:

• Explore FinHub’s API capabilities without affecting production data
• Test integration flows with simulated financial transactions
• Validate your implementation before moving to production
• Experiment with different API endpoints and parameters

Getting Started

1. Obtain Playground Credentials: If you haven’t already, contact your FinHub representative to get sandbox tenant credentials
2. Configure Your Environment: Follow the Sandbox Configuration guide
3. Authenticate: Learn how to authenticate in the Playground
4. Manage Sessions: Understand session management for API requests

Moving from Playground to Integration

Once you’ve familiarized yourself with the API in the Playground environment, you’ll want to move to the Integration environment for more formal testing. See our Integration Home for detailed guidance on this process.
